How horary works
A horary astrology app that casts the real chart
Most astrology apps start from your birth chart. Horary starts from your question. You type what you want to know, and the app casts the chart for that exact minute and place, the way a traditional horary astrologer would.
What happens when you ask
The chart is real. It is calculated from astronomical positions for the moment you press send, with Regiomontanus houses (the house system Lilly used) and traditional orbs. Nothing is drawn at random.
The question is routed to the right house. A question about a partner goes to the seventh, a job to the tenth, a message to the third, a lost item to the second. The planets that rule those houses become the significators.
The judgment follows the rules. Applying and separating aspects, translation and collection of light, prohibition, reception, the state of the Moon and the condition of each planet. The verdict comes from this engine, not from a language model.
You get a lean and a time window. The answer is given as a direction (leaning yes, yes with obstacles, leaning no) with the reasons behind it and, when the chart allows it, a rough time window drawn from the aspect that completes first.
Why a lean and not a promise
A chart rarely says a flat yes or no, and pretending otherwise would not be honest. The app tells you which way the testimonies point, what supports the outcome and what works against it. You can read every testimony and check the chart yourself.
Questions people ask most
- Will he text me?
- Will my ex come back?
- Will I get the job?
- Where is the thing I lost?
A second question on the same chart
If the first answer raises a related question, you can ask it on the same chart instead of starting over. Horary tradition discourages asking the same question twice, but a related question on the same moment is fair game.
Price and privacy
The first question is free. After that, each question uses one credit, sold in small packs. There is no subscription and no account: the app works with an anonymous id created on your phone.
The app is available in English, Turkish, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese and Russian.
